The Mission of the Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago is to perpetuate and showcase the splendor of Mexico's traditional dance, music, dress and history; and to cultivate and promote public awareness and appreciation of this rich cultural heritage.
MFDC has the following goals:
• To choreograph and perform traditional Mexican dance works of the highest caliber.
• To develop and sustain a diverse repertoire of Mexican folkloric dance works with their corresponding musical accompaniment and dress.
• To educate, enrich, and entertain audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
• To contribute to the rich cultural life of Chicago.
